We have identified trusted partners that can assist sponsors in executing existing projects, mostly in the form of food programs, medical supply distribution, and education support.
This network pairs sponsors seeking to initiate a new project for either specific beneficiaries (e.g. orphans, camp regions) or to fulfill a mission (e.g., donating food, books, clothing, medical supplies, teaching, mental/spiritual guidance). Depending on the region and need, we can help facilitate linking displaced Ethipians' necessities with sponsors' donations.
Over 700,000 people have been displaced by the conflict so far and a million people are in urgent need of food assistance, according to the National Disaster Risk Management Commission.
Analysis shows that up to 400,000 women, men, and children in Tigray, Ethiopia, are now facing acute food insecurity. At least 33,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition, with a real risk of dying from hunger if they do not receive urgent treatment.
